Up early, we depart for the Okavango Delta. The Delta is a unique ecosystem
and is situated in the middle of the largest stretch of continuous sand
in the world – the Kalahari basin. This wetland lies like an oasis
in an otherwise inhospitable landscape. We spend two nights camping wild
in a remote part of this wilderness, exploring the area on foot and mokoro,
the traditional dugout canoes. (In times of drought, it may not be possible
to explore the delta by mokoro; on such occasion we will only explore
the delta by foot.) (B L D)

by the Delta. We head up the western side of the pan handle of the Okavango
River, camping on the banks of the river. (B D)

Zambezi River.

7 Victoria Falls
Today our time is spent at leisure, enjoying one of the many activities
on offer, white water rafting, bungi jumping; a canoeing safari or even
the flight of angels over the falls. We spend the evening out on town
enjoying a traditional meal at one of the local restaurants (own expense).
