Safaris take place throughout Southern Africa. If you are specifically interested in one species, for example: the Gorillas in Uganda, or the dolphins in Mozambique - you can visit one area that specialises in this kind of safari.

If you are looking forward to seeing the Big 5 (lion, elephant, wildebeest, leopard, rhino), there are numerous game reserves & parks that cater for this. A slightly more specialised option is the walking safari, which gives you the opportunity to get a lot more "up close & personal" with wildlife - in general - including the some of the Big 5! (you'll find this in the standard option)
